The meeting will be blended so people can attend on location as well as online. We hope to see as many of you as possible on location to fully use the opportunity to closely interact and intensively discuss our science again.
Nairobi is a major conference destination, which has been named Africa’s leading business destination twice by the Annual World Travel Award. The city is well served by a superb network of air, road and rail transport. The main international airport is Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, located 17 Km from the city’s central business district.
The conference will take place in the Eka Conference Hotel. The proposed schedule consists of four full session days as well as a field trip in Embu county (www.embu.go.ke), a region where Alectra vogelii (Orobanchaceae) has recently emerged as novel threat to agriculture. The WCPP dates will coincide with the wildebeest migration in the famous Maasai Mara, which is only a four hour trip away.
